# How to play .dcr(shockwave) file in 2021 and beyond.

1. Download Adobe Shockwave Player 12.3.4.205, the last version of Shockwave.
2. Download and install the [Pale Moon browser (32-bit)](https://www.palemoon.org/download.shtml).
3. (Where does the Shockwave installer come from? Archive.org has the April 8, 2019 copy of the [Shockwave Player download page](https://web.archive.org/web/20190408130142/https://www.adobe.com/products/shockwaveplayer/distribution3.html). Use the "Download MSI Installer" for Windows.)
